Locke

Locke is a small village within Gert region - Locon River flows through the centre of the village. Not far from the Locke Quarry.
Part of the village is in ruins.

Followers of The Raven Queen mainly - there is now only a shrine

Max Bedlow - male Human - Good. Max has thick silver hair and light brown eyes, and large ears. He wears simple clothing and a green cloak when not working at the forge.

Drinking Inn
On Golden Lane, in a civic ward of heroic monuments and envoys of distant lands. It stands adjacent to a watchtower of the town guard.
The inn is a grand half-timbered building, with finely-crafted tables and chairs. Accommodations consist of several large rooms with beds and feather mattresses.
The inn is locally known for its phantasmal entertainments.
The innkeeper is an old male Half-Elf named Cobrin Hearthstone. He seems to know the name of everyone who enters his inn.

Locals

+ Marielle the Darkblade - Female minotaur - hired assassin turned good - brown and white fur with black wavy mane and large blue eyes. She wears leather armour and wields a poisoned club. Marielle is haunted/accompanied by the ghost (Francol Greenfoot* - someone she killed (now become friend of sorts, because he haunts her).
* Francol is the grandfather of Dany Greeenfoot (a member of The Seekers) - Halfling male.

+ Writhe Diridotr - Female Dwarves Soldier - Evil. Writhe is tall and slender, with thin silver hair and light grey eyes. She wears leather armour and wields a long sword and long bow. Writhe is searching for her missing adult son, Creethe.

Captain of the Guard

Zameus Turag = male Minotaur - greyish fur (like the colour of river stilt) - brave - stubborn - does not always speak in clear words (cloudy meaning) - likes is work and proud of the locals
[spoiler]* when the runes given by The Fates for him to join The Resilient Brothers he travelled part of the way, before becoming a guard in Mount Derkuyu
After working as a guard within the Tuck region during a storm season, Zameus moved with his wife Tierea and son Juanjo (when 4 months old) to Locke - later had three more children Hilven (female), Nalcix "Nal" (non-binary), and Zeelsien "Zeelie" (female).

History

A village that had a good relationship with the nearby Aarakocra. The day no one wants to remember is etched in the history of Locke - the followers of Footfall arrived with weapons and cages. They attacked the Aarakocra settlement. They left few alive - of those they did, they cut off the wings. Blood spilt into the tree roots and soil. The Quarry failed to collect any more diamonds - however cursed bloodstones and black Tourmaline stone.
