Hansola
Culture
The culture of Hansola is really the culture of the coastal areas. The Seared Dessert and the tribes within have their own distinct culture, largely decoupled from the culture of the main cities and towns. Hansolian culture is much more water based than the mainland. The Hansolians worship the sea god Aqueous who is said to defend them in turn, the mainlanders fear Aqueous and steer clear of the seas when possible. Therefore Hansolians make up the majority of merchants who trade from Alberon
Demography and Population
Only about half of Hansola is human, many people are halflings, others are leonin, a few aaracockra live int he eastern mountains, and there is the fairly large dragonborn population of the Seared Dessert.
Religion
The Hansolians are a part of the Church of Alberon but also worship Aqueous, the Ocean Father. A large portion of their economy relies on fishing and trade. Some of them recognize Hetziah as a goddess and pay tribute to her but unlike Aqueous it is out of fear instead of love or reverence. God of course is worshiped most widely and is the only religion officially recognized by the Kingdom of Alberon.

Major Exports
Hansola exports cotton, tobacco, and sugar cane. Most of these materials go to the mainland of Alberon to be processed into cloth, rum, and other goods.
Major Imports
Hansola has some forest but still needs to import much of it's lumber.
