Alberon(Continent)
The Continent of Alberon is the northern human continent on the eastern side of the world map. It is where humans originated before they spread across the world. Once home to the Brickertonian Empire, then the Kingdom of Alberon, followed by the dwarven VCG, Alberon was recently divided into six nations; The Free City-State of Brickerton, North Lords Alliance, Kingdom of Southfield, Kingdom of Deltora, Nessien's Wood, The Greenland Dwarven Alliance; and one Sumarrian Territory, Big Darkstone.
Geography
A mountain range dominates the eastern coast, giving way to an evergreen forest in the north(known as Frostwood) and the deciduous Nessien's Wood in the south. The River Alberon flows from this mountain range across the continent, cutting it into northern and southern halves, the river then becomes a swamp and finally a delta where it flows into the sea. South of the River just west of the mountains are the Golden Hills, which give way to farmland and prairie. Towards the center of the continent is the Mainwood, a forest north of the river just outside of Brickerton. towards the northeastern area, there is another mountain chain that forms a crescent around a large valley, home to the Goldwood Forest. Wood from a Goldwood tree is as strong as iron while being a fraction of the weight. Cradling the other side of the Goldwood is the Goldwood River which flows south to join the River Alberon. The southern coast is largely beach but becomes a cliff face towards the southern center of the continent, where it becomes the landbridge between Alberon and Hansola, the Sumarrian Empire is currently constructing a man-made canal through the landbridge to open up shipping lanes.
