Overlap

A lot of magic happens the same way. It's not even that the magic all does the same thing, it's that people are people, and if you hand people power, they really only do a few things with it, and all of those boil down to keeping yourself warm, fed, and fucked. Safety, comfort, convenience, that's what people want, so magic ends up doing the same shit no matter who's doing it.

Almost all of the spells that reach this overlap are lower tier works, and anyone that knows magic knows these, even if they're not that great at it. The versions spreading across the 'types' have their titchy little differences, which will be mentioned.
