Ghulgari Strait

A body of flowing water between the continents Noress and Elsee

Saltwater, flows from west to east due to planetary shape at the location, flows are wonky as fuck and eddy like crazy, makes it Hll to go across or try and travel up or down.

Small harbors can be found, and barges can be kept tied to the shore along Noress's coast to transport stuff, but Elsee's coast is too rocky to get away with that. (This does make for a lovely network of secret caves for escaped slaves, pirates, or adventurers

Geography

At its smallest, it is 220 km (130m) wide, and its biggest 763 km (470 m), the saltwater flows freely between the two.
The flow is a horrendous mess on both ends and therefore also in the middle. The tides play merry hell.

Ecosystem

The coast of Noress features many living peoples as the swamps wash up, mostly waterfey or aquatic folk adapted for it. I probably should research this more.
