Ecstatic Dancing

Pulses through flesh, loud all-consuming music.   The primary tradition of the rave cults. Dancing together is transcendent. The erasure or blurring of the self, connecting with others, as a group organism moving to the beat. A nothingness that feels like everything. When people truly lose themselves to the music, they slip into a liminal space where they connect not only to the crowd around them, but all dancers of all time.
