Pledge

After two years in the row of getting only the Copper badge, I will aim for Diamond this year. Let's hope this Summer Camp will let me come back to how much I was worldbuilding in the past.

Shattered World

Once the world was whole, but not anymore. A magical apocalypse came and shattered the world into pieces. Ground opened, kingdoms fell, tens of thousands died. Those who survived tend to ruins and to what survived. No one really knows what caused the Shattering. Some say it was the work of evil mages, others that the work of an evil god.

Love in a Shattered World

While romantic love exists in this world, the more important kind of love is the one that comes from dedication, duty and caring for others and the world. When the old world ended, survivors had to stick together and the bonds inside communities became strengthened. At the same time, relations between communities became colder, especially during the intial period after the Shattering. Everyone wanted to ensure the survival of their own people no matter what.

Area of Focus

As this is a new world my area of focus will be quite wide. I will focus on countries and organizations of the Shattered World. I will use the prompts to build their basics.

Hopscotch

Map

The inspiration for this world came to me when I was looking through maps I made in the past that I didn't use for any project. As such, I already have a map of this world and this is my starting point for worldbuilding. Throughout June I will work on the map some more to have the basics of the world ready. I don't think I will make any new maps at this point. Country and settlement maps will be the things to do after Summer Camp.
