Spindrift
The floating village in the bay at Camp Thrifty is where the majority of the town's itinerant population sleeps in their boats and rafts upon the shallow waters. The layout is cosntantly changing as boats arrive and deaprt from Camp, but it is an unwritten agreement that people can walk across the bay from deck to deck, but below-decks is out of bounds.
As a result, many ganplanks and ropes are strung between the various boats as people make there way too and from shore, and many of the decks have been converted into market stalls or small bars and restaurants. Those who are 'between crews' can look for work with new captains, or wander from boat to boat trading wares or information.
The Dealrunners are a regular sight as they cross the Spindrift with messages between crews as people try to close deals, or offer up new ones.
