Selethis
Goddess of Nature, Harvest, and the Sun
Lady of the Harvest
Often called the Lady of the Harvest, Selethis is a Celestial goddess associated with the bounties of nature and the toiling of farmers. Many throughout the continent pray to her when planting seeds, hoping for a good harvest, or awaiting a summer season that never ends. Often invoked during harvest festivals, fertility rites, marriage ceremonies, and childbirth, Selethis is particularly popular among villagers and farmers. Her presence among city folk is limited, and her temples are often simple chapels in the countryside, tended to by kind priests known as shepherds. Her domains sometimes bleed into those of Tathos, Seraphina, and other life-associated divines. She empowers her devotees to toil hard during the day and to reserve the late hours of the night for family time and good rest before the next day. In short, Selethis expects hard work and rewards those who do so with nature's bounty.

Tenets of Faith
Sanctity of Nature
Chief among the tenets of Selethis is respect and honor shown towards the natural world. As her domain, the forests, rivers, mountains, hills, and groves of the wilderness should be regarded as sacred. While she does not shun those who build or harvest the bounties of nature, including hunters, farmers, and settled folk, she asks that these tasks be carried out with mercy and never without thanks given to the wilds. Selethis blesses those who live in the world as though they are guests rather than lords.
Communal Connections
Selethis worship usually involves strong bonds of community, family, and mutual regard. A chapel dedicated to the goddess may be built amidst farms worked by several families. Each person helps their family, and each family plays their part in building a strong, noble community. Selethis honors this and does her part to help strengthen the bonds of community and family. Individualism is a selfish impulse; those who leave others behind for their personal gain will not find the goddess walking with them.
Divine Festivals
While Selethis usually advocates strongly for a temperate disposition, keeping her followers disciplined and satisfied with simplicity, feasts and festivals are a time for bounty, fun, and merriment. During harvest festivals, the goddess is said to dance with her devotees, celebrating their bounty alongside them. These are times for falling in love, dancing with one's community, and enjoying the bounties of food and drink together. There is always time to get back to work the next morning.
