The Thieves Guild has a base of operations in just about every country in the entire world. However, the Atlantean branch is considered the worst by far. No one knows how it got this bad, but nowadays, they appear to have no rules, no morals, and are incredibly dangerous. If you cross them, you will pay with your life, and they will hang your body in the streets for all to see, just to make an example. They have their hands in just about anything you can think of, including money laundering, drugs, alcohol, as well as good ole' fashioned robbery. They even seem to have paid off the Maji Guard, who will simply look the other way and do nothing. In the city of Konaset, it is well known that the Maji Guard are there simply for show. The king is nothing, even. The ones who really control the city are the Thieve's Guild.

Structure

The structure of the Thieves Guild remains largely unknown to anyone on the outside, and the Maji Guard haven't even bothered to open an investigation.

Culture

Core beliefs? What are those? The Thieves Guild have no ethics, morals, or scruples. They will murder anyone who gets in their way or crosses them and hang their bodies in the streets to send a message. Sometimes, when they have been especially angered, they have dismembered the body and mailed the body parts to random people throughout the city. They are evil, sadistic, and cruel. They are the ones who really control the city, and they do so through sheer and utter fear.

Public Agenda

Their primary motivation is to make money. By any means necessary. Secondary is to control the country through fear.

Assets

They control the docks and the city. They have their hands in every business in the city, even the cheese factory. They have instituted a system where every business in the city must pay them a portion of the profits. Sometimes they will increase those rates with little to no notice. It is thought that they have a hideout somewhere in the city. No one knows where it is, however. Not that anyone has bothered to really look for it.

Territories

They lay claim to just about every part of Konaset, including other cities and towns throughout the country. The Maji Guard have done almost nothing to stop them.

Ethics

Ethics are just things that get in the way for the Thieves Guild. They have no code, no rules, no laws. They will do anything and everything if it will further their own agenda.
