Souls Campaign Session 17
General Summary
The party starts in the airship outside the magic circle and they decide to send Edgar the raven to scout while flying south to Nibbs Cave and through the Brigganock Mines to Endelyns domain. Approaching cautiously, suddenly the door opens and reveal an old man who asks them who they are.
He invites them in for tea but Ozzy gets suspicious about this creature first thinking he might be a dragon until he casts Dispel Magic on him. While his body turns into a gigantic spider like body the party rushes down the tunnel to avoid getting crushed. Ghost teleports him outside where he assumes his true form. However he manages to convince him to leave him alone.
They go into the grand hall and see spiderwebs everywhere. Some corpses have been cocooned and Ghost cuts open some of the cocoons finding several weapons on the Witchhunters. He also retrieves the insignias of the Flame of the Righteous order. He finds a magical cloak as well that billows heroically as-if there is wind.
Going into the mine they meet with Brigganock, one of the small furry creatures that mine gems and digs tunnels. They are all called Brigganock and have a deal with Nibb by feeding him some excess population he keeps them save. He agrees to lead them through the tunnels to the realm of Endelyn saying they usually sell their gems to the hags.
When they reach the middle point they feel gravity reverse and they "fall" to the ceiling. The tunnels become empty and soon they reach the exit seeing a pitch dark realm only lid by the occasional flash of lightning jumping from pillar to pillar. Brigganock goes back but they Chiki trades their last good tobacco for two of their light gems.
Walking down a winding path through the mountains they meet a large walking sunflower carrying a bee who seems to be smoking on top of him. He explains he's on the run from a creature called the Beekeeper who is up ahead and tells them they can reach Endelyns realm by following the path.
They go up to the stone circle and meet with an undead skeleton dressed in a beekeeper outfit. He can give them passage or a magical item if they defeat him in honourable combat. Saruske accepts and after dueling the creature he knocks him out although he gets back up soon after. They get the items and manage to climb the cliffs to avoid disturbing the bees.
