Summer Solstice
Celebration of the longest day of the year
Summer Solstice is also known as the biggest party of the year. It is celebrated on the 21st of Brever, the longest day of the year, in honour of the angel of desire, Brevus.
Order of Service
To celebrate the Summer Solstice, people come to Sanctuaries of Brevus across Magnus. They pray in the adjacent temple at eleven in the morning to give thanks for Brevus allowing people to have wants and desires. Devotees then take a moment to consider which want and desire they want to focus on for the next year. Following this, they go into the hall to feast with their peers. Summer Solstice food, regardless of the country, is typically carb- and protein-rich.
With guests well fed, they are then invited to come into the Sanctuary. At the centre of every Sanctuary of Brevus is a large swimming pool and loungers, with a bar and music. Slaves chosen to work at the Sanctuary to serve and provide physical services for guests are diverse, but beautiful. Their skin is bronzed for the event, and they dress in transparent orange cloth.
There are certain areas where different classes can and can not go. Lower classes are normally restricted to the dining hall. The middle class can enjoy the sanctuary, but can not physically use or touch the slaves, though they can use some of the private rooms. The upper class have free rein to do as they please.
The party last all day and involves lots of drinking, drugs, and sex. Only those over 18 are allowed to attend, and its always recomended to attend different sanctuaries to your parents. Solstice is not an event to celebrate your family.
