Middengeard

A journal of life and culture across the planet that we know as Middengeard

Senior Researcher, Department of Standards

Dear reader,

What you will find here is a collection of notes taken during my work as a researcher. My name is Lemi Louf, and I am employed by the Department of Standards, primarily at its Esprite office. My duties, however, require me to travel widely across Favont and, at times, beyond it, into the wider continent of Magnus Prime.

The Department maintains records on all aspects of life deemed relevant to governance. This includes guilds, settlements, historic events, and individuals considered to be of interest. These notes form the basis of the reports I submit to the Department.

Not all information gathered can be reported. In some cases, the Department shows no interest in certain findings. In others, it actively refuses them. I continue to record everything regardless. In my mind, what is ignored, dismissed, or denied often matters most.
