Rixio (RICKS-see-oh)

Human powered public transport

A rixio is a two-wheeled cart with a seat covered by an awning. The cart is pulled by a rixio driver. Rixios were originally called serens and were very popular amongst the upper classes of Magnus during the 5th and 6th centuries. However, they became unpopular during the Age of Enlightenment, apart from in The Stphese where they remained a form of inner-city travel.
