To counter the most dangerous threats to Megacorpolis, the corporations with in has combined to create the most elite and dangerous taskforce in the city's history:
The Union Busters!
Tasked with finding and destroying any remnants of the terrorist organizations known as unions, the Union Busters follow in the steps of the Pinkerton Agency, police departments, and even people like John D. Rockefeller. Although unions are no longer recognized legal entities (good riddence!), there is still work to do. Union Busters break up worker assemblies, track down propaganda mills, and all around work hard to keep the citizens of Megacorpolis safe from the terrible scourge of unionization.
Sponsored not only by the various megacorporations that have drawn them together but also the streaming-services that record their adventures, the Union Busters are heavily armed and extremely trigger-happy. Only the hint of this heresy against the free market stokes their righteous fury, and collateral damage usually follows.
Curiously, the Union Buster rooster has bloated over the years, to the point where no one is exactly sure what everyone in the unit does, or where all that money goes. Equipment, weapons, and ammunition often goes "missing" only to appear on various black markets, and it isn't clear what the budget given to the Busters by their corporate overlords always goes towards. Fortune continues to smile on the Union Busters though, as a new cult of filthy Unionist crop of almost as reliably as whenever they get in trouble, and no number of wrongful death lawsuits in the world can stop them from their market-given duty.
