Taro

Taro is a small, isolated village community deep within the Olani Woodlands. Its population is poor, but self-sufficient, enjoying little in the way of modern technology. They are cautious, but generally hospitable with passers-by and other forest-dwelling communities when approached. They exchange goods via trading and bartering.
The dangers of the forest have threatened Taro's population, which is steadily dwindling. They have faced hardship at the hands of werewolves, mischievous fey, and rabid animals, and the community has suffered for it. As a result, they are accustomed to hardship, and have come to expect it.
