Felidae
The nation of Felidae is located in the northern wilds of Teme-Rasadar. An independent territory, Felidae was formed centuries ago by migrants fromthe Isles of Basilla seeking a chance at a better life. They envisioned a nation laden with opportunity for their kind and built a home for themselves according to that ideal. Establishing connections with their neighbors, they ensured their prosperity for several decades before the Disciples of Ruin dug their claws into the locals in order to appease their eldritch deity.
Felidae barely survived the turmoil, its residents reduced to living in squalor and forced to remain on the lookout for attacks from opportunistic slavers or cultists driven mad in their zeal for the Nameless One. With the rise of Basilla's new governance, the nation stepped in to provide aid and supplies to the wounded territory. The council has made moves to bring order to Felidae, sending mercenaries in to clean up the roaming gangs and gain the peoples' trust. At the same time, they are facing opposition from the nation of Teme-Rasadar, who claim that the settled land belonged to them before catfolk occupied it. King Falenmir has challenged their claim to the land, and terse negotiations are ongoing between the two nations.
