Aerithia Archipelago
Introduction
Nestled within the heart of the Azure Expanse, a cerulean sea celebrated in song and legend for its radiant hues, lies the Aerithia Archipelago. This enigmatic cluster of islands sprawls across the western reaches of Kena’an, a region defined by its striking contrasts of breathtaking beauty, fierce contention, and storied past. From vibrant coral reefs and sun-drenched beaches to shadowy tropical jungles and foreboding swamps, Aerithia offers an island for every soul’s desire. A volcanic jewel shimmering amidst azure waters, it is a realm where nature’s artistry and humanity’s struggles intertwine.
History
The history of the Aerithia Archipelago is one of beauty and turmoil. Once a haven of untamed natural splendor, the islands were home to spiritual tribes of Eaglors deeply connected to the balance of the natural world. These tribes revered the unique flora and fauna of the islands, protecting them with fierce determination.
As the world moved toward the Era of Enlightenment, change began to ripple through the islands. Advancements in navigation spurred a surge in maritime exploration, drawing the interest of surrounding kingdoms. The first towns and cities emerged, with Alyrath- the largest and most central of the islands- becoming the archipelago’s bustling hub. This influx of settlers brought a kaleidoscope of races and cultures but also sowed the seeds of unrest. Piracy flourished in the waters of the Azure Expanse, adding a profound dangerous allure to the region.
During the reign of Agion Condore, the last emperor of a unified Kena’an, a fragile balance was maintained. Agion respected the island tribes and, with the counsel of Felanir Darnoosh, ensured their preservation amidst growing pressures. However, his death marked a turning point. In a controversial decision, Agion divided Kena’an into its seven original territories, each bestowed upon one of his trusted advisors. To the shock of many, the Aerithia Archipelago was entrusted not to Felanir, but to Saradac Silvershadow, an enigmatic halfling whose claim over the islands reshaped their future.
Saradac Silvershadow, though known for his wit and cunning, was a leader whose greed often overshadowed his judgment. Lacking the wisdom necessary to guide the delicate balance of the Aerithia Archipelago, his reign marked the beginning of significant upheaval.
One of Saradac's first decrees was aimed at consolidating power over the islands. He presented the remaining tribes with an ultimatum: relinquish their ancestral territories and live as subjects under his rule, or face merciless persecution. Despite the veneer of choice, his actions left little room for peace. Refusing to yield their sacred lands, many tribes resisted, only to be hunted down or forcibly displaced.
Some of the tribes soon found themselves exiled to Ekiran, a region under the governance of their kin Felanir Darnoosh. Others- those who decided to stay and fight- were systematically annihilated, their traditions and histories reduced to whispers carried by the sea winds.
Saradac's greed did not end with the tribes. He exploited Aerithia’s natural resources, imposing heavy levies on the settlers and attracting an influx of opportunistic merchants, mercenaries, and treasure hunters. Under his rule, piracy surged to unprecedented levels, turning the Azure Expanse into a haven for outlaws. Ironically, the chaos he fostered proved profitable, as pirate lords swore fealty in exchange for safe harbors and protection, further cementing Saradac’s dominion over the lawless waters.

Does anyone know the reason for Agion’s stupidity? This archipelago sounds like a really versatile place.
Agion's stupidity is one of the world's greatest mysteries, as many scholars would tell you! Thanks for the like and I promise, everything make sense in the end (... somehow) <3
