Wstaar'si (Wiss-Tar-See)
Wstaar'si (Imperial Wythian: Civilised Men) is the most common name used to describe the conglomeration of various cultures and ethnic groups that populate the lush rainforests of Manbara. Due to the presence of vast monolithic ruins scattered throughout the region (far beyond the architectural capabilities of the Wstaar'si or their Lagonic neighbors) it is often proposed that the ancestors of the Wstaar'si migrated to Manbara from parts unknown, supplanting the indigenous Manbarans following whatever cataclysm resulted in their disappearance. The Wstaar'si are notable for their fierce loyalty to the Lagonan Empire; the Manbaran Confederacy was the first polity to voluntarily join the Empire.
