Vessel InTerra 23

The VI23 (Vessel InTerra 23) is one of our oldest records. Not necessarily a castaway, these few recovered files are the legacy of the ghost ship after a biologist, Veran Ethalar, figured out how to cure the plague decimating the ship after he was found to be the last alive.

This vessel is one of the oldest interstellar generational ships with the task of going to a planet with a varied group of people and terraform the planet so said people can populate it. These files had been found after the planet Eraida (name found in the old ship's archives) had been found by different people, half way the process of terraforming, with no people taking care of it.

Since then, Eraida has finished its terraforming (surprisingly well taking into account the lack of people's involvement and the old technology and processes used) and has been inhabited by the first alive people reaching it. The Eraidens honoured the ghost settlers by keeping their legacy alive as much as possible, and it's thanks to that that we have the sad story of Veran in our archives.
