Goldencomb Caverns

Goldencomb Caverns is a sprawling network of underground caves that serves as the heart of Honeyburrow's apiculture. The caverns are named for their walls, which glisten with a golden hue due to the abundant honeycombs embedded within the rock. The air inside is warm and sweet, filled with the gentle buzz of giant honeybees going about their work. Natural light filters through small openings in the ceiling, illuminating the large, dripping honeycombs and casting everything in a soft, amber glow.   These caverns are not only a source of livelihood but also a marvel of natural architecture, with vast chambers connected by narrow, winding tunnels that echo with the sounds of dripping honey. The largest chamber houses the Queen's Hall, where multiple queen bees reside, each reigning over their portion of the hive. Managed by The Honeycomb Cooperative, Goldencomb Caverns is crucial to the town's economy, producing various magical and mundane honey-based products, and is fiercely protected by the skilled bee riders of the Honeyguard.
