Magni
The Magni are a sub culture in the Pocket Void, they reject technology in favor of magic.
Arriving in the Pocket Void can be a bit of a culture shock, especially for those who are from less technologically focused worlds. This has lead to the sub culture known as the Magni. They prefer their lives before technology, mistrust it or they enjoy using magic for the things technology dose.
They have a settlement near the foothills of the northern mountains. It is completely tech free. Visiters will sometime bring tech with them but it is kept to a minimum. Magni will often trade with the other settlements. They travel to the other settlements, but keep there interactions with tech to a minimum for the most part.
The Magni settlement is setup like most of the other settlements in the Pocket Void. It has a small center square with shops and other businesses. The houses are arranged around the square, mostly to the east, north and west so there is room to expand with new businesses to the south. While they have their own way of communicating with people on the otherside of town, they do have an emergency com unit if they need it.
The Magni have the best herbalists, and their shops sell mostly hand made goods. They are the only settlement with shops that sell magical items and potions. They also have a few fortune telling places.
Some of the more technology inclined people, think that the Magni are to superstitious. Most are simple small things, habits they learned as a child. They still believe in wishes, wishing on a star, birthday candles, and blowing on a dandelion puff. They hang dream catchers, and carry rabbits feet. They leave gifts for fairys on their door steps.
Not all Magni with continue with the tech free life. Some will start useing technology after the culture shock starts to wear off. But most perfer to only use it if it becomes necessary.
