Evanora and Ezrin
The story of Evanora and Ezrin is the first and most famous love story to take place in the Pocket Void.
Evenora was extracted as the only survivors after her village was destroyed. She had lost her home and family in one blow. While she survived she had many scars from the wounds she sustained that day. A constant reminder of the tragedy. When she arrived in the Pocket Void she distanced herself from everyone, dissappearing into the woods for days at a time. Rarely talking to anyone when she did come into town.
Ezrin was a man with no family to speak of. He would travel a lot, exploring new places. Until one fate full day when the ship he was on ran aground. The waves battered the ship until it broke apart. He barely survived washing up on the rocks. When he arrived in the Pocket Void he opened a little trinket shop, at the edge of town. He would sell things collected from other worlds. He enjoyed talking to customers about the placed he had seen and the places his customers came from.
Evenora all ways took the same path into to town. It wove through the trees. Across a little creek into a clearing. This time when she reached the clearing there was someone else sitting by the creek. Evanora froze thinking she should turn back. She had never seen him before, and she wondered if he had just arrived. She decided to just hurry passed him. He called out a greeting and she responded quietly.
Ezrin saw her again later at his shop looking at a small carved pendent hanging in his shop window. He watched as she stood staring at the pendent. Some one approached to enter the shop and Evenora hurried away.
Ezrin and Evanora continued seeing each other at the clearing every day for several months before Ezrin ask if he could walk her into town. She agreed. They started walking to town together from the clear every morning and back from town in the evenings. They would talk about what their lives were like before coming to the Pocket Void. Ezrin began inviting Evanora to dinner or events in town. They continued to spend more and more time together.
One day as they reached the clearing Ezrin stopped and asked if Evenora would like to continue this friendship, this love forever. Evenora said yes. Ezrin gave her the pendent that had been hanging in the shop window. Evenora gave him a small silver key that belonged to a music box that had ment a lot to her. Before it was destroyed with the rest of her village. Then they vowed their love to one another forever. This was the first True Bond Ceremony.
They built a cabin in the clearing, and eventually homes for their children. Over the years the town of Corner Cabin grew. The home Evenora and Ezrin built is still there in the center of town.
