Archlich Malukard
Malukard was a powerful Archlich that once once ruled over Hepsut between 713 AF and 785 AF, in a time period known as the Malukard Empire.
He was commonly known by the following titles: Archmage of Necromancy, The Undying King, The Iron Tyrant, and Necrolord Supreme.
Malukard was formerly a student and teacher at the Rhean Academy in Maran. Malukard was a prodigy in necromancy, surpassing all others in his field, and discovering secrets from the Age of Arcanum that many thought lost forever.
In 682 AF, Malukard was elected the Coven of Maran’s Archmage of Necromancy (a now defunct position), who at the age of 135, became the first human to ever become a Coven Head in the organization's history.
As Coven Head, Malukard only furthered his study, and after 30 years, Malukard had become the most powerful mage on Exorsia. But driven mad by dark magics, and consumed by a desire for immortality, Malukard plotted against the other members of the Coven, seeking their downfall, and growing his following. Malukard sought to conquer death, and in secret, using the vast amount of magical knowledge he had gathered, Malukard recreated the lost rites of Lichdom, magic thought lost in the Fall of Arcanum.
Finally, in 713 AF, at 166 years old, Malukard ascended to Lichdom, as war broke out within the city of Maran as Malukard sought to destroy all those who would oppose him. The Coven eventually defeated their former ally, but while his body was destroyed, Malukard had fashioned his phylactery into an indestructible mobile suit of armour, created from an ancient Arcanum Adamantine alloy. He soon returned to the fight, and with the other mages exhausted, they were forced to flee, and the city of Maran fell to Malukard.
Malukard ruled Hepsut for 73 years, during this period, he is believed to have ascended to a position beyond Lichdom, becoming the first Archlich in history. Some have argued that Malukard was one of the most powerful mortals in existence, a spellcaster that could potentially rival those that lived before the fall.

Appearance
Malukard was a elderly human man, often described as malnourished with a bony, thin face mapped with wrinkles. His hair was long and grey, straight and stringy, combed back into a widow's peak so that it flowed down past his shoulders. His skin is a light brown and his eyes were said to glow with a tint of green.
He would often be dressed in long ornate wizard robes of black, gold and green, and he wielded a tall, twisted, black iron staff, topped with a bleach white skull.
After his first defeat in 713 AF, Malukard returned within a towering metallic suit of armour made from black metal, a supposedly indestructible enchanted adamantine. It is said that between the plates of armour burnt glowing green necrotic flames and the armour carried a massive maul of similar properties, called Oblivion.
