Stony
Located on the Southern side of the Northern Isle, Stony is a medium sized town, near the coast of Scuttle Bay - next to Swan Bay - a small inlet with a wooden wharf that people jump off and fish off.
It was so named because of the stony and clay soil on which it was built. It is settlement some people will visit too, although most are unlikely to travel on any further West than Stony.
Contains the Orchard Orphanage.
The main roads are paved and have cobblestones along the edges. A cobblestone area has been placed in the curve of the main road and another curved street for more Market Stalls.
Going through the town to the trail of eerie and strange Echo Woods leads to Belve. Through the boggy and unsettling Dusk Quagmire to Odd is not easy terrain. Otherwise, travelers can take the longer route to Odd - heads North-East past the South West side of Spiral Peak, and the aromatic Floral Fields - then down the opposite coast looking out to the Bold Strait. It is a far more relaxing journey - although longer.

The next building by the bank is a jewelers - without much covering at all. Followed by a jewelers.

The Spiral Peak is regularly easy to see from Stony - except for the very peak which is covered by heavy fog cloud. That cloud clears during the hours of 3 to 4 - both morning and night.
There is a central green near the centre of Stony. This green is used for children to play, organised sport, Market Stalls and outdoor celebrations. There are celebrations for the children held at the Orchard Orphanage, each time lost children is reunited with their families. Any large indoor celebrations are usually held within the Town Hall which faces the eastern edge of the central green.

The Yellow Wizard, rumoured to be named so due to being born under yellow full moons, walks out the back of the Information Centre. There is a private area set up for their magic casting. A book stand is placed central on the floor. The room is lit up by candles at a click of the wizard’s fingers. Adorning saffron yellow ropes from a hook on the wall, the wizard slowly paces the room. They visually checks nothing has been disturbed. Verbally muttering words of a spell the does more of the same, while also feeling out for scrying magic. The wizard collects a large tome from a secure spot, taking to the stand. The book in large. It smells both old and new. Pages have been magically added over time. The faded cover has runes in golden thread. No one else can read from nor touch the tome. The protections upon it will not allow it. The Yellow Wizard is trusting but not foolish. The wizard chants the words in a sing-song voice and gestures with their hands. The sparks and mist form in front of them. The air is ecstatic. Once the enchanting is complete, the Yellow Wizard carefully closes the book. A piece of fur floats in the air, landing on the cover. A shot like lighting disintegrates the stray hair. The tome is cautiously rewrapped in the tan cloth, and placed back in the box, which is in a special spot. The lock clicks closed. The key disappears into the folds of their wizard ropes.
The Stony Bank
This bank is made out of local stone with a wooden verandah.BANKER = Axel Heavyfoot - mountain Dwarves - says 'Danger' is his middle name - skilled with a handaxe - bush dark brown beard - large feet, so not very stealthy - very perceptive

TeahouseThis is one of the first businesses in Stony - with a reputation for excellent teas, scones with a wide variety of homemade jams to try, and fresh cream. A small fruit garden is located on the left of the main entrance, and their cow named Dottie lives in the small paddock behind the building. They sell jams, milk and eggs to the locals.
A place where the locals gather to unwind and talk. The two old women who own it are sisters, and one sits weaving while the other knits - willing to teach anyone who pays attention to their crafts.

Hunting & FishingThis open front store, supplies freshly caught and cooked fish (as well as seaweed) from Swan Bay and further in Scuttle Bay. The cooking is done in large woks over open flame at the front of the store.

Only people who know where they are headed, or get detoured by a tip-over cart, or are lost end up going down Grackle Lane. It is an odd selection of stores and the tavern, which was the first building in that short stretch of street.The Black Grackle
Drinking InnThis old building, is near the opposite corner to Toppers (as fenced of stable area first, be hind high wooden fence), made with blackened wood with a large stuffed Grackle bird on display - it has an air of mystery and being unsavoury. The people who do frequent it seem to have the same nature.

When a Changeling says the secret password, they will be lead through a private hidden door where there is a selection of masks - faces that Changeling can purchase (some include a recording of a voice and suggested background details).
The brick building is located on the corner, has a dark grey stone statue out front that the owner dresses in outfits (i.e. gold sparkly gown, bright green wig in a messy bun, gold tiara, black chucky necklace and matching bracelets) when it isn't raining or store is closed - in a theme of the occasions going on within Stony.

The Dustee Rose
InnThe entertainment, tavern and accommodation is inside a large half-timbered building, with a small hedged yard with free-roaming chickens and pig pens around the North-West . A dusk colour rose adorns the Inn's sign. There is an entrance at each end. Inside is roughly hewn wooden tables, benches, a long bar and a low stage adorned with a colourful backdrop and special lighting. It is often exceptionally filthy (except on the stage area), and poorly lit by a few tallow candles - made of animal fats.

The six Guard Towers always have three guard within them - one to go get help, and other two to defend with arrows or bolts (never one left alone against whatever may try to enter Stony).
Tall guard towers and high stone walls stand along the town from the Western side around covering the Southern edge to the Eastern main road. They were erected to protect the town from Echo Woods which grows to the South-West, and the Dusk Quagmire that sits to the South. A single Guard Tower stands on the main road to Swan Bay and heading to Spiral Peak and the Floral Fields.
