Yana
Yana is a dimensional plane neighbouring Elemaran, created as a safe haven for Demons.
Geography
Yana takes the form of a small planet, with an atmosphere similar to that found on Elemaran.
Localized Phenomena
Yana sits outside of Kineva's control, and as such, has been completely untouched by any divine influence since its original creation just before the War of the Gods. It does have latent magical energy, which is siphoned from the mana redistribution network present in Elemaran. It seems to have some form of Mana Distribution network similar to that found in Elemaran, taking magic from Elemaran and returning it through every portal opened. Spells appear to be impossible to cast in Yana, with the only use for the latent magical energy known being to open portals to Elemaran.
Natural Resources
Yana is home to large amounts of Kakellium, which Demons use to create weapons, including a type of sword closely associated with Demons, the Kreina. The land is not fertile, and there are no drinkable bodies of water. The water can be used for transport, but there is no real trade economy to speak of.
History
Towards the end of the War of the Gods, it was becoming increasingly clear that Vada's goal of keeping the world enslaved had failed. In a last-ditch attempt to keep some legacy of its nature before it was killed, it set its sights on saving the demons who had fought for it in the war. Next to Almaren, it created a secondary dimension in which the remaining thousand demons were placed, giving only demons the ability to cross over into Almaren. After the war was over, and Almaran was refashioned into Elemaran (breaking the link and sealing the demons inside), Kineva noticed the broken link and set to work on refashioning it. It was unable to create a link, persay, as it had no influence on a realm that sat outside of its control, but it was capable of influencing the broken end of the link that sat in Elemaran. Through doing so, the demons were allowed back into the world and could continue to continue Vada's aims of pure, unmotivated suffering.
