Beast Folk
Beast Folk is a collective term for five distinct sentient species originating from Gaia Ilands. Though bipedal, each closely resembles a specific animal, blending humanoid form with animalistic traits. The five known types are Bear, Fox, Wolf, Cat, and Bunny.
While they share fur, tails, and other animal features, Beast Folk are fully sentient and possess advanced knowledge of technology and magic. Each subtype has its own unique physical strengths and mental tendencies, creating clear distinctions between them. Across all five species, there is a natural resistance to Dark magic and a corresponding vulnerability to Light magic. Despite this, many individuals among them are capable of wielding Dark magic with notable proficiency.

Their bodies are covered in fur to varying degrees, and they possess animal like ears, tails, and other distinguishing features tied to their origin species. The Beast Folk inhabit a chain of islands, with each species primarily occupying its own territory. These lands are divided among the five races, though travel and movement between them are generally permitted.
Governance is handled through a central council composed of representatives from each species. This governing body works to maintain balance among the Beast Folk and oversees relations with the outside world. While each group retains its own cultural identity, and own groverments, they operate under a shared political system that unites them as a whole.
