You attempt to deflect the triggering spell back at its caster. Make a spellcasting check against the caster's Spell Save DC. On a success, the spell does not affect you, and the caster must make the normal Saving Throw for the spell against his or her own Spell Save DC. If the spell was an Attack Roll, you repeat the Attack Roll using your own Spell Attack Modifier instead, targeting the original caster.
You automatically fail the Spellcasting Check against a spell of 8th-Level or greater.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, increase the level of spell you do not automatically fail the check against by 1 for each slot level above its base level.
