Life on the Ice Cap is not for the weak or meager. It makes sense that those who dwell here and neither of those. The people of the Ice know the value of comradeship and life. They value life and respect nature, giving them the edge they need to survive.

Money is not very commonly used here; instead, bartering is the mainstay of all trade here. This is also the only location that Dragonscale Trading Company does not have their hooks into. They have a few scattered outposts along the very edge of the ice where they trade wares with various tribes.

During the The Cataclysm the Utopian Valley was torn asunder. Some of the Dwarves and Elves that were in that valley were swept away in this schism ended up at sea on a floating island. They named this island Hillsronto Refuge. After a few years, Hillsronto Refuge ran into what eventually became the Ice Flow. Here they meet Ursa. During this time, thanks to the timber on the Refuge, unlike the chunk of ice they called home, some of the ursa, with the guidance of the elves, built ships and set sail north to find new homelands.
The remainder stayed with them. These three races evolved into the Glacial Dwarves , Snow Elves , and Polar Ursa. Later the White Dragonborn, Silver Dragonborn and Iceling settled and joined there society.
