Many of the Re-Tellings are semi-accurate, getting details such as involved characters, plot, and setting. That isn't to say that the story is accurate, however, many cultures retell a more Saint-aligned version of this story. Additionally, several similar stories exist that are partially based off of this tale.Global

This myth is very extreme on the spectrum of acceptance; most cultures will either see this as a demonic and sacrilegious or as an innate tale of their faith. Ergo most people are either entirely accepting or entirely against this myth.Literature
This Myth is widely documented across its history. From a literary perspective it provides an interesting moral and is generally an archetype of stories of family and resilience. From an academic perspective it has had a significant impact on the history of the world, being featured in many courts and sometimes even igniting wars. As such there are many tomes that contain The tale of Devils or one of its retellings in at least reference.Art
In art there are several possible candidates for a painting or other work of art based off of it, even if indirectly.One of the most famous of these is the "Demonic Resilience" painted by Oued of Darch. It is partially based off of the myth and partially off lived experience, as Oued was there at the time of the myth's origin. The painting is currently contained in Oued at the painter's memorial museum.
