Tech Conclaves
You scoff at the man on the side of the street, who taps away at some screen, trying to get a "signal" for his map. You on the other hand quickly use magic to find the fastest route home, reaching out the art of Read to see beyond sight. A little do you know, the man scoffs at you too, your reliance on magic, and thinks of how much more proven and reliable science is. Then you both proceed on your way, each with their own map.
Tech conclaves are dotted across terra, prevlelant in the seventh and ninth circles due to their magics being Guild and Tinker. These conclaves rely exclusively on technology to serve their needs, a practice which is viewed as outdated by a modern magical society. Where Planetary gates and teleportation magic can get you from one place to another, the Techies, as they are often called, will use rudimentary and unreliable shuttles to achieve inter-plane travel. Where a Mage specializing in Heat can simply shift the temperature of several buildings, the Techies insist on using power draining air conditioners. These practices are often seen as a drain on society, and advancements made by Techies in medicine and science are often ignored for far longer than they should be.
There are few other primary figures, but none which have as much sway on this society.
In addition, the society maintains very industrious values, so those that don't really provide an intrinsic value to the larger society are looked down on. This can include those that make niche artforms, and thoughs that do more entertainment focused jobs.
The way of life in a Tech Conclave is drastically different from the remainder of society, the society is significantly more tech-advanced and tech-based. From day to day, many members of this society will be found working at various jobs, most of which are either based around the gathering or manufacturing of resources or the invention of new technologies and then the refinement of those technologies.

Shared traits
Dialect
Techies often speak the same dialect, most commonly referred to as Techish. This language is in actuality a modification of several common languages, and is used in both programing languages and inter-conclave communication. It is designed to be as simple as possible, and would be considered a constructed language. Interestingly the language utilizes a building block system, for instance if A is fire, AAA is very very hot fire, and ABCD might be the elements.Cuisine
Techie cuisine often modifies world cuisines in interesting ways, such as the packaging of various foods into microwavable meals, which utilize a form of heating tech. Other common foods include, pizza, hotdogs, and burgers, all of which are eaten around the world, but are consumed in high quantities here.Dress
The dress of Techies often favors either style or comfort, with no in between. The Techies will often wear stiff suits and formal wear to their jobs, and to the opposite end wear "sweats" which refer to a style of clothing that is extremely baggy and heat retaining clothing.Legends
Most myths and legends in Techie society do not pertain to gods or monsters, rather, the stories often opt to pertain to Legendary people, or just stories that show what is and is not morally ethical.Historical figures
Some of the Legendary figures include, The First Alchemist, and The First Tinkerer, who are semi-esoteric figures that were said to have founded Techie society. These figures were said to prize the ability to equalize those who have less magical abilities. This myth forms the basis of this culture....and they saw that those who used magic had become lazy, and relied on it before themself...Another figure is The Defender, who was depicted as a manufactured giant who defended the society during the Age of Regression, shortly following the Deitic War. This is an allegory for the legions of both manufactured beings and the immense weapons designed for defense during this period. Some of these remain, in the form of the few remaining Androids, and immense, rotting shells of weapons on the edges of many of the city.
There are few other primary figures, but none which have as much sway on this society.
Taboos
Magic, to be clear, is not a taboo in it of itself in techie society. The use of magic to make one's life exceptionaly easy is. In addition, they consider the use of magic in war greviously inethical, and history does support this claim, with events such as the Deitic and Lich wars being grevious misuses of magic in order to harm the entirety of the world. In addition, the society maintains very industrious values, so those that don't really provide an intrinsic value to the larger society are looked down on. This can include those that make niche artforms, and thoughs that do more entertainment focused jobs.
Customs
Moral code
The moral and ethical code of Techies obviously includes the basics: No stealing, and No murder etc. In addition, the society prizes independence, both of magic, and of the self. As such those who are most respected will typically be those who use Tinker or Guild to create entirely independent homes. This is considered a form of mathematic ethics: If a person gives work and service to society without taking much in return, society makes a profit. Invention is considered one of the most honorable acts, and patenting or copyrighting one's work is looked down on. The idea is that an invention is a gift to society and that patenting or copyrighting this work stifles the growth of the whole.Way of life
Many Techies will come to these locations, performing functions of menial labor like coding or bureaucracy
Traditions
Many of the Traditions in this society revolve around holidays, such as the ancient three winter holidays: The Day of Death, The Day of Family, and The Day of Frost. In addition, many important figures will be awarded with their own holidays, in addition to important events.
