Einandira

Seraph Einandra (a.k.a. the Enchanting)

Also called the Seraph of Beauty, Einandira is one of the Seraphs associated with the religion of the Red Queen in Trandrafia. She was acknowledged by the Red Queen for her ability to destabilize her foes and inspire her soldiers, all through her bewitching presence. She is also believed to have played a similar role in the war as Nelrithra through use of subterfuge to keep eyes on the Queen's enemies. However, she is most widely revered for her inspiration of arts and beauty, and is seen as a patron of artists of all kinds and weavers of beautiful clothing, especially silk.

Depiction

Einandira is depicted as a beautiful woman in a colorful, silken dress. Features change from artist to artist on her exact appearance, but she is often seated, and sometimes holding thread. One oddity some find in depictions of Einandira are her almost unnaturally long limbs and fingers that give her a more surreal or supernatural appearance.

History

Einandira was born of the political marriage of Queen Morgaen of an unknown kingdom and Prince Oktas. Her mother gained the ear of the Queen after her role in the Withering Leaves Conflict with the now dead kingdom of Eldermyst and was promised to join their bloodlines.

Einandira was known for her presence, voice, and actions that could breach the defenses of any rival society without conflict, allowing the Red Queen’s army to occupy the lands of Trandrafia as they are today. She, like Nilranthra, was valued for her sight, but Einandira’s sight was far more focused on infiltrating enemy camps and movements. A web of information was fed to the Queen and Her generals through Einandira’s many eyes.

Einandira is most well known for her allure, beauty, and ability to inspire people to whatever ends. Her voice was said to be able to shed fear, doubt and anxiety from any who heard it, drawing them to act in whatever manner the Queen deemed. Whether magic or natural magnetism, Einandira’s presence was intoxicating to those around her.
