Nebaji

A small town tucked away in a cave like system in the mountains of The Luwani Desert , it is an enigma both to the outside world and itself. Victimized rarely by raiders and desert marauders, they are protected by a well trained group of soldiers that patrol the surrounding area. Rarely these soldiers will escort visitors who seem to be suffering from heat exhaustion or some other fatiguing trance to Nebaji, where they are nursed back to health and integrated into society if they choose.

What most of the world is unaware of

The soldiers are The Sunsworn , and they are visited by caravans from Kaldona . They have never met the leader of Kaldona, Nediarakhen, but the settlement is considered a part of The Kaljadian Empire.

The wanderers brought to the town are previous citizens of Kaldona who underwent The Ritual of Sunset.

Government

Considering the small amount of people, they mostly exist in harmony with one another. The few that step out of line are brought to justice by the soldiers stationed within.

Industry & Trade

They are frequently visited by a mysterious trading caravan and given supplies, not just for survival, but intended for trading.
Dutifully, the citizens embark to fulfill their orders, trading with foreign nations and bringing these imports back to Nebaji where the caravan will retrieve them and bring more exports.

Architecture

The meager homes are carved out of the stone, much like the city itself.

The town is carved into a valley of two mountain like formations near the edge of The Luwani Desert and the shoreline of the close ocean.
