Karthland
in AcariKarthland stretches wide across the southern reaches of Acari, bordered by the Black Mountains to the north and the volcanic lands of Oliss to the west. The fertile eastern plains are a breadbasket of rich farmland, while the western reaches rise into harsh highlands of stone and wind. The great Karth River divides these two regions, flowing southward to meet the Great Sea at the city of Karth, whose harbor and delta have made it the realm’s beating political and commercial heart.
Karth is generally recognized as the ruling kingdom of Acari. (this is mostly by Humans). The halflings of Ubros Jungle have little concern of the kingdoms of men, and the Yuan-Ti only recognize this through defeat in the spice war.
Relations between Karth & the Vale have been tense at times, as the pirates of the vale do not claim fealty to the crown.
