Swampwalker Clan

The Swampwalker clan is a gnome majority clan in The VCG. They inhabit the large swamp and boggy area in the VCG. The gnomes who lived their were largely non-religious and so were largely easy to convert. There were several druids that were killed when the dwarves first invaded but most simply fled. The swamp was a pain to conquer and is a pain to govern, the local population was largely converted, so it was granted its own clan, mostly because no dwarf clan wanted it. Now the druids just stay largely out of the way their number reduced but neither the gnomes nor the dwarves want to spend the time and energy hunting them down. The Swampwalker territory is probably the freest part of The VCG, it has the fewest dwarves and while the caste system and laws are largely the same the punishments are usually leaner and they will often look the other way.
