Nahri Deflector Shields

Nahri deflector shields are advanced deflector shields created by Nahri civilizations, and later introduced to many others. One of the main consumers of Nahri deflector shields are the Homeshans.

These shields were invented in the year 15 BUC. 5 years later, they were introduced to Homeshans in the The Thlanari Expanse, which completely altered the economic and urban situation of the region, and later the planet.

Main Consumers

Homeshans

Homeshans were the first civilization introduced to Nahri deflector shields. They are primarily used in Homesha to protect cities and towns from the frequent natural disasters of the planet. Their locations are preplanned for every new city or town. After being introduced, demand greatly outweighed supply. This was noticed by Lenemir businessman Muhnad Qmeel, who founded the QmeelFeda corporation. QmeelFeda began rapidly producing deflector shields in new, large factories on Homesha. This sudden increase in supply, made mostly by QmeelFeda, allowed them to establish a monopoly over deflector shields on Homesha.

Merchants and Explorers

Almost every merchant who finds an available Nahri deflector shield will purchase it without second thought. Access to them greatly reduced the piracy rates in the regions surrounding Nahrin. They are also common among explorers.

Ashteia

After facing several terrorist attacks, Ashteia began purchasing Nahri deflector shields and paying Nahri manufacturers (e.g., QmeelFeda) to build factories and manufacture their deflector shields in Ashteia. This decision created thousands of jobs and boosted the Ashteian economy.

Luxury Residences

Some highly luxurious residences and cruises in more dangerous areas use Nahri deflector shields to boost ratings and attract customers.
