Uncommon Deep vengeance for a loved one Requires Attunement
Light, Finesse
The hairpin was given to Penelope by Salo as a gift on their wedding night. It was an ordinary, yet noble like hairpin from a strong alloy. When the cult attacked their farm and killed her son, Penelope pierced the throat of a cultist with the hairpin, but nontheless she was taken prisoner later.
After that, it was given from one cultist to another as a reward, payment, trophy, etc. Over time it absorbed a small amount of vile magic from the surroundings and the feelings of vengance from Penelope's past became its only goal. It can only unleash its potential in the hands of someone with the same goal as it has.
Parent's vengance. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack using this hairpin, you can force the target to make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw.
On a failure the creature is cursed for 1 minute. While cursed, the creature takes 1d4 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns and it can not regain hit points. Once this feature successfully curses a creature, it cannot be used again until you finish a long rest.
