Aimed Shot - Before moving on your turn, add double your Proficiency bonus to the attack roll for the first attack you make with this weapon.

Special Maneuvers

Crippling Shot - You aim for the legs or other appendages of your target without your Proficiency Bonus. If your attack is successful, the target's movement is hindered and can only move half its normal movement speed until the start of your next turn.

Pinning Shot - If a medium or smaller target is within 10 feet of a vertical surface such as a wall, you can use this maneuver. Spend time lining up a shot as a Bonus Action to ensure your next attack pins a target. On a successful hit, a target is pushed back 10 feet, is pinned to the wall, and restrained until the start of your next turn.

Accurate - Within the effective range, you have a +3 bonus to hit with your attack rolls.

Archery Weapon - Each attack with this weapon uses up one arrow or bolt unless otherwise specified. Long range attacks made with this weapon are one die size smaller and one AP rating lower. Does half the rolled damage to vehicles.

Special Properties

Hemorrhaging - Targets struck by this weapon must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Bonus or take 1d12 (1d10) Bleed damage.

Hunting Tool - Can be used to give Advantage on Survival checks when hunting for food.

Stealthy - Firing this weapon does not alert enemies that are outside of initiative or when you attack while hidden. After attacking, roll a Stealth check versus the target's Passive Perception.

This advanced variant of the crossbow boasts the highest velocity, greatest range, damage, and accuracy out of all standard kinetic crossbows. The only similar crossbow that supersedes this design in terms of advanced construction is the Ashigaru Labs Counter-Accelerator Crossbow. It has a complex pulley system where the string is forward of the limbs to increase potential energy even further, to the point it can pin targets. It uses advanced materials in its construction, with a feathering system that substantially reduces the noise that it makes.
