The Traveler's Guide to Aellorah
The Jukanvaria are the unfortunate few Gelgiren who, during the awakening, were adversely affected by the corrupting influence of Maven. His presence in their minds has driven them mad. For some, they simply speak unintelligibly and act irrationally. For others, it drives them to commit unspeakable acts. Maven’s influence has also given them the ability to cause natural materials to degrade on contact with them.
Unlike other Gelgiren, their eyes glow a golden yellow. The Jukanvaria were originally the Gelgiren constructed as combat units, and many are equipped with mounted weaponry on their chassis.
The Jukanvaria inherit the domain of Corruption, a result of Maven's essence tainting Lys' Wellspring when it erupted and awakened the Gelgiren.
Your touch can severely compromise the integrity of non-magical structures and objects. As an action, you can touch a non-magical object or structure made of inanimate materials such as stone, wood, or metal, and corrupt it. You can affect an amount of cubic feet of material up to your proficiency bonus (max 5). This ability has no effect on Endaravan or Esciten.
If this ability is used on an object or structure, its hit points are reduced to 25% of their previous values. If used on non-magical armor, the armor incurs a -2 penalty to its AC each time the ability is used. If this penalty reaches -6, the armor is destroyed. Using the ability on a non-magical weapon incurs a -2 penalty to attack rolls and damage, and if the penalty reaches -6, the weapon is destroyed.
You can use this feature a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.
