I would write this in a form fit for remembering, but I do not trust my current mind to be capable of writing such a text.
Ki'tor, for all his high and mighty Kang ways, exhibit perhaps the most essential traits of a high-born. Unyielding faith in one self, infantilization of anyone not sufficiently high above them and a galloping, unyielding naivitë, and - hidden underneath all this - fear. Such wide and deep fear. Reasonable fear at that - this... ultimatum of the blotch is admittedly horrific and if he possesses the capabilities to do what he threatens, the world might suffer for it. Yet we have to - we must - keep a level head. I must keep a level head.
We have no proof of the blotchs intentions or capabilities except for the grinning husk asking us if we dare risk it. Either we give him a planestone or he brings death and destruction on the entire world. And then takes the planestone anyway? And yet this "threat" is taken at face value. As believable.
A being breaking everything that is holy, that has cursed themselves, bound themselves to a half-life, pissed on conventions, who, admittedly, is in possession of ONE planestone, is going to end the world unless we just hand over another planestone. If he possesses the capabilities of which he boasts - why does he not just utilize them to take it himself? The only reasonable conclusion is that he does not have the means, and wishes to see just how far he can get on pure fear. Seeing to Ki'tors reaction, evidently quite far.
He also gave us the task to find him. Follow the planestone, i presume. I pleaded with the party to subvert his expectations at the least and seek out the one in Sarasteece. I do not believe I convinced them.
We're marching into our doom led by a scared little boy.
Where the FUCK is that eremit when I actually need his nonsense words? Why this life, why like this, why do I have to deal with this broken chalice?
