The JournaDeepnight Coalition Officer's Log #2: Deepnight Endevour Initial Action

After we met with the leader, or perhaps first among equals of the Midgard Organization, and briefly rearmed the Bassarion, we began our journey. The mercenaries were not eager to spend any more time in port than strictly necessary, so frequently we simply refueled the ship. We performed some in field fuel scooping as well. Its been a long time since I had piloted a ship for an extended period, and I'm glad I could pull it off. Spending a few hours in a ballet with a gas giant is something I missed, and completing the task as Nessun Dorma played was a sublime experience. Once in position we jumped to the last known location of the Endeavour.
 
Upon arriving at the Endeavor we discovered a dire situation. Multiple debris fields were detected, and the ship itself had severe damage on several of its pods. The situation appears to be salvagable, but it will take much more resourses than the Bessarion and its crew have access to.
