Physical Description

She is lean, petite and agile, full of energy. She dances and skips along with her friends everywhere she goes.

Body Features

Her skin is a rosy ivory, smooth and silken. She has a mysterious mark on her back that only Kairine and Eira have ever seen, but neither have any idea what it could be. She has small and delicate hands with manicured nails, though she almost never washes her hair.

Facial Features

Round head with rounded cheeks, soft jaw, and a pointy chin; a cute button nose, narrow, lush rosebud lips. Her hair is long, messy, tangled, and tousled, sandy blonde. There are constantly twigs tangled up in her hair, but she seems to like them.

Physical quirks

She is full of energy and dances and skips everywhere she goes. She can not sit still for very long. However, she has calmed down a lot since meeting and falling in love with Eira. Being with her seems to calm and balance her.

Apparel & Accessories

She will often wear green and purple dresses made of wool and cotton, and a pink flower in her hair. Though something that Eira has constantly got on her about is that she hardly ever wears any shoes.

Specialized Equipment

She carries around with her a stick fashioned like a staff through which she focuses her spells. She made it herself from wood she found on the island of Maona. She has kept it with her to this day.

Special abilities

Kuai is an Earth colour spellcaster. Beyond that, she is a Guardian of Earth and has mysterious Druidic powers that seem to activate through her dancing. She also has an ability to grow plants and flowers anywhere. Even in very strange places, like the top of someone's head.

Recently, it has been discovered that she is somehow also the Guardian of Light. She and Eira have both been training in Light magic, though she's a little further along than her wife.

She also has a remarkable ability to talk to and understand Mystimon. No one has any idea how she does it.

Mentality

Personal history

She was discovered on the coast of Maona, living in the forest. From there she travelled with a group of adventurers throughout the Quatrica Islands until her life was in danger. This is when she sadly said goodbye to the people she had called her friends, and went with Crystal to Almahna. However, the danger followed them, as the villain, now known as Xulgoth, eventually caught up with them.

One day, while perused the Calrune markets with Crystal, she met Eira when she pickpocketed Crystal. There was something about her that Kuai really liked. Overtime, this developed into feelings that she didn't quite know how to express. Eventually, the two fell in love. But their love was forbidden by law in Almahna, and they were both arrested, though she never stopped loving Eira, whom she calls 'Snowy'.

Through many trials and tribulations, Kuai and Eira soon got married at the beginning of 2744. They have now enrolled in school at Almahna Academy together. Kuai is studying to be a herbologist, because she loves plants and flowers.

Education

Until she met the party, she had the education of a small child, from growing up alone on an island. She loves to learn and is very curious, and loves to ask questions about anything and everything. She had no knowledge of society or what a lot of things are, and so she looks upon everything with amazement and wonderment. She's learned more about these things over time, and has certainly learned a lot from Crystal, who home-schooled her for a while, as well as Eira.

She is now learning the intricacies and complications of love, as she has fallen in love with Eira Last and is learning much more about the world through her. She enrolled in school at Almahna Academy in 2744, and is studying to be a herbologist.

Employment

Once in a while she will work at the cafe, though the only thing she knows how to make really are flower teas. She really likes flowers. Eira doesn't much care for her flower teas, though. This makes her sad.

Accomplishments & Achievements

The greatest day of her life was the day she met a group of adventurers who saved her from a life of living alone on an island and helped to show her the wide world beyond. She misses those adventurers and hopes to see them again someday.

Failures & Embarrassments

She is a girl who could not remember her past for a long time, but now that she does, she is deeply affected by it. She feels like it was her fault that her parents are gone now. Even though she was a child at the time and she was preyed upon by a sick man, she still blames herself. She is in therapy now to learn how to deal with the guilt.

Mental Trauma

She didn't remember a lot about her past, about where she came from initially. But over time, certain things have triggered these memories for her and, terrifyingly, revealed themselves to her in her nightmares. She still has nightmares to this day, though they have lessened since being in therapy.

What she remembers is that she was on a ship to Atlantea with her parents when she was young, around seven years old, and she was approached by a man. This man wanted to be her friend, or at least that what she thought. He wanted to play a game with her. She had no idea that this 'game' involved setting fire to the ship. She survived thanks to her father's Grizzlus, Fuzzy, who is now hers, and this was how she ended up on the island, where she lived alone, other than Fuzzy, for years.

These memories started to really flood into her mind after meeting the spirit of her mother, Anela. Though her mother didn't blame her for what happened, she blames herself, and it is one thing she has been struggling to cope with for the past several months.

But the wicked man who haunted her memories came back. The man who manipulated her back then returned. It was Xulgoth. Thankfully, he was defeated finally in Endora of 2743. However, she has been struggling to put it all behind her. She still blames herself for what happened to her parents, and she still has nightmares occasionally, though they have lessened.

She is curious, kind, and empathetic, though she has a hard time reading people and communicating. She is getting better at it, but when she has difficulty communicating, she will do so through flowers instead, using the language of flowers as a way of communicating her feelings.

She is very good at gardening, has an innate ability to grow plants and flowers anywhere, but she is very bad at reading people. She is incredibly naïve and thinks anyone and everyone are friends. She also has a difficult time communicating her thoughts and feelings. The only one she seems able to do so with is Eira, she seems to understand her. Over the years she has learned to communicate through the language of flowers instead.

Some would say that her naivete is a flaw, while others would say that it's a virtue, depending on your perspective. However, she also has difficulty reading people and communicating, and can't sit still for very long, and loses focus after a short while. Eira says that she is also disorganised and very easily distracted. She also has restless energy and a phobia of fire, connected to the deaths of her parents.

It turned out she also mispronounced her own last name. Her last name is not Treewatcher, it's actually Trewache. Being a child when she lost her parents and ended up living alone on an island, she never had anyone to correct her, so she just continued to mispronounce it, and it's now stuck, even though she now knows it's incorrect. And so, through the innocent mistake of a child, her last name has changed.

While she does take baths, she never washes her hair. She seems to like the twigs and flowers poking out of her unkempt, dirty blonde hair.

For a time she was taken in by Crystal. She then moved out into a place with Eira, though she remains in contact with her. She was also stalked by a villainous character named Xulgoth for a long time, much of her life. He has finally been defeated, however and she can rest easy knowing that he is gone. But she still has nightmares.

She has a wealth of friends, and to her, that's all she really needs. She isn't interested in material things like money. She leaves that to her wife, Eira.
