Description

A frightened citizen of Hearthglen caught in the middle of the plague outbreak. Civilians are not meant to be combatants. They are objectives, emotional stakes, and reminders that the undead were ordinary people only hours earlier.

Ideals

Survival. Family. Home.

Bonds

Their loved ones, Hearthglen, and the hope that help will arrive.

Flaws

Panics easily and may make dangerous choices under pressure.

Suggested Environments

Hearthglen, Andorhal, chapels, barricades, town halls, refugee camps, farms

Panic. When a hostile undead creature moves within 10 feet of the civilian, the civilian must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of its next turn.   Noncombatant. The civilian has disadvantage on attack rolls.

Actions

Improvised Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 bludgeoning damage. 1d4   Run for Safety. The civilian moves up to its speed toward the nearest visible ally, shelter, or barricade.

Reactions
