Caspian

Caspian, or "Cas," was rescued from an Oni and his Ettin minions by The Fatebound as they adventured in the Jawbone Hills in search of the Githyanki crèche. Session XXII: For the Children
He stands just over five feet tall, possessing a nimbleness of someone built for stealth or survival. His skin is a deep, rich brown. His face is undeniably handsome, defined by short, coily black hair. His most arresting feature is his eyes an intense, warm hazel with distinct gold flecks. His bearing makes him appear older than his sixteen years would suggest.
Cas is clad in fitted, yet visibly abused, set of layered, distressed leather armor. It is a patchwork of overlapping straps, expertly tailored for mobility, held together by sturdy stitching and heavy bronze buckles. The edges are frayed and torn, suggesting it has been through countless skirmishes, yet it remains perfectly functional.
Cas has survived horrors that would break most people. Abducted from his home in Garrison by Mind Flayers along with several other unfortunate children, he experienced mental torture. He describes the air there as tasting old blood, and he still hears the wet, rhythmic pulsing of the brain-pool in his dreams.
Then, he and the other captives, were stolen from the Mind Flayers by the Githyanki. No threat of mind rape there, but the physical torture was brutal. He tells knows the heroes that being "rescued" by Githyanki was almost worse them the Ilithids.
After the rescue, in camp, Tenzin looked into Cas's eyes and there was a haunting recognition. The specific pattern of the gold in that hazel-amber is known to Tenzin—perhaps a trait shared by his lost father, or a distant relative from a high lineage they are both descended from. Cas is a street-competent warrior, but his eyes link him to an important bloodline, which makes him highly valuable to the Githyanki... and a mystery to Tenzin.
