Karoo

A large bird, known for its distinctive cry, from which it gets its name from. Karoos have all the looks of a tropical bird however they seem to be most likely to be found within none-tropical climates. Their long feathers are well prised for their vibrant colours and famed for their use by "exotic" dancers. Karoo are oddly susceptible to magical corruption in worlds in which it is present, often becoming quite large and monstrous as a result.
