Daggerheart Origins

Preamble

Tumulus is a setting made to play Daggerheart , created by Darrington Press aka Critical Role. It is not a world made entirely around those poles, but it's meant to put their pieces on my board, and as such contains places for the pre-established Ancestries and Communities to go! This meta article is to give a quick and easy reference as to which of these origins are commonly found where, and eventually to link to their own pages for a more in-depth look.

Ancestries (Location-based)

• Terra Coccinea - Drakona, Dwarf, Earthkin, Emberkin, Fungril, Giant, Gnome, Goblin, Infernis, Orc

Tumulus Specific

Tumulus is a region that is born from the Divine from beyond and the Primoridal from the natural world, and while all the ancestries and communities are included, some more than others, there is a key piece of flavoring for the world:

• Angels - From Domus Angelorum: winged, bright eyes, halos that manifest from light, powerful voices
• Dragons - From Terra Coccinea: winged, scaled, fire-breathing, sense for metals and treasure
• Beastkin - From Ager Aureus: Even if not an already animalistic Ancestry, possesses some feature such as animal ears, tail, claws, or fur. Also possessing of higher senses
• Merfolk - From Ao Akua: Ease of swimming, can hold breath for long periods of time even if not indefinitely, can resist cold temperatures

Most of the features above will be cosmetic unless already a part of the Ancestry, but some NPC's, especially older ones or from privileged lineages, will be more prominent.
