Description: Storage items come in all shapes and sizes, while western cultures seem to have a preference for the storage items in the shape of bags, the easterners often use rings and bracelet or very specifically Qiankun bags. These items contain a magical space that is much bigger on the inside than it seems with the smallest on the market having 1m3 content and is purely meant for storage. They are manufactured through pouring Qi into a miniature formation. A more complex formation and a constant stream of spiritual energy automatically make for larger storage space.
History: Special storage items are one of the earliest magic items.
Features: Depending on the quality of a special storage item the capacity can range from only a few cubic centimetres to large enough to hold the entire forbidden city. There are also differences in terms of what can be put inside. The most basic bags can only hold dead, inorganic items. Bags of a higher tier can hold organic items as well but they will rot and after that follow the bags that can hold any item and keep the organic items fresh. The most difficult to make are the spaces that can safely hold living creatures. Of course, it is possible to make items that are only able to hold organic items or living creatures.
Notes: Special storage items in the form of bags are the easiest to make as any normal bag can be used and these already have a 'space' to dictate the eventual form of room inside. For jewellery that has no such guiding space gems of high purity are a must as impurities can manifest as distortions in the space if one isn't careful.
