Acropolis Precinct
The Acropolis Precinct is the seat of government in the city. In its present form it has existed for hundreds of years. The precinct itself is surrounded by a wall. There is a gate to the north leading directly to the Ducal Palace. The Main Processional Gate opens to the Glazge giving accessibility by way of the Processional Quay Wall, to the Oscare Ocean. The Western Gate is a water gate penetrated by the Adomaitis Canal
The entire precinct is on the Noen of Oentalise (Hill of Oentailis).

Points of interest
The forum is a public space open to all in Toresta. Many visitors to the city will come to enjoy the fountian and see its obelisks.
The Tower of Tides, besides containing the Hall of Navigators where the Executive Council meets and the Seafarers Assembly, where all of the members meet, has offices for numerous standards bodies, a library of engineering tomes, maps and geographical and oceanographic information, clubrooms open to all member officers, and dormitory rooms also open to all officer members. Much of the building is public and is visited by those having business in commerce or seafaring.
The Court of the Black Veil, as one might expect is much harder to get into and almost impossible to escape. It is known to contain cells and holding rooms, offices and records rooms, as well as arcane laboratories dedicated to the pursuit of forensic science. Still its outer walls and architecture is well known and most visitors to the precinct at least give it a look.
The Hall of Wisdom contain public galleries, where visitors can observe the College of Electors, particularly as they conduct their most important duty, the election of the ruler of the city. The building also contains smaller meeting rooms where groups of Electors can meet to discuss other matters, also within their purview. Some of these rooms are also open to the public, but many are not.
The Ducal Palace is both a private residence and a working capital, with public offices and spaces.
Hall of the Wisdors contains the offices of the Electors and thier staff, as well as the Oentalise Archives, some of which is open to the public.
Tourism
The city gets many visitors, most on business connected to commerce and trade, though some few also visit as a stop over when traveling from Aerusia to one of the Icarema continents. Almost all will make at least a cursory stop in the precinct.
Architecture
The buildings in the Acropolis are built in the style of the ancient Ludzie people, with columns, colonnades, porticos, and stoa. They maintain the slate roofs of other Torestan construction, with their rainwater collecting systems.
Unlike the other buildings of the precinct the Court of the Black Veil is faced in grey stone.
The Acropolis Forum is located between the Hall of Wisdors and the Tower of the Tides. At its center is the Oentalise Fountain. Four obelisk are placed around the fountain, commemorations to the Founding Families, whose names are inscribed on their bases.
