Singularity - Class Experimental Prototype Super Battleship
A ship of indescribable proportions, filled with technologies so advanced not even the Hyperion Federation can keep it stable. Its shield is reinforced to the point where it can even prevent collisions, making it neigh invincible on the battlefield. The only known way to defeat it is to "get lucky"; the technology is extremely unstable. All of this extreme technology requires ludicrous amounts of energy, and therefore, antimatter annihilation cores no longer produce enough energy. So instead it uses a black hole to generate power, which is about as safe as it sounds. With every second its operational, it has a chance to go supernova.
While extremely unsafe, more recent ones have improved significantly in reliability. Still a long way off 'reliable'.
When they are not exploding for no reason though, these ships are the single greatest starship ever to cast their shadow over the universe that does not utilise archaeotech.
Weapons & Armament
Due to the even higher energy levels, it is capable of powering far stronger weapons including Warp Railguns, Antineutronium Cannons, Black Hole Cannons and Tachyon Phase Cannons.
Armor and defense
Its first line of defence is often the hardest to penetrate. It is surrounded by a negative, superluminal gravitational field, meaning that no weapon that has a velocity below or equal to that of light will ever penetrate it.
It is also surrounded by a Hardlight shield over a plasmatic shield. As well as the mostly QCD matter TGX Composite armour. Anything that even slightly penetrates all layers of defence is likely to trigger a supernova.
