Sibriula
Though now there is little remaining of the vile elves of Primulitus, the land before you was once riddled with heresy; you start your journey on the rehabilitated city of Sibriula, just a few miles from the shore. In the past, pretentious ivory towers deprived you of the sun and the pervasiveness of apostasy was all encompassing; it is baffling to understand these sun-kissed streets were once drenched with magical lights rather than Rhaan's gift.
In every aspect of their life, the perverted practice of blood magic has taken hold. In every house, street, and child; in every prayer, ceremony, or practice; in games, in poems, in songs; in tales and stories, in paintings and murals.
The streets you walk ran with blood long before the Might of the Holy Pact breached its gates, conquered the shore, or even set sail to these lands. As if trying to bolster the legitimacy of your creed and verity of your faith, the elves practiced a terrible form of magic, drawing blood to corrupt the integrity of the soul. By The Four's will, they were completely and utterly cleansed; the air you now breathe is free of the blasphemous stench of their profane practices.
Exinlua
On this rugged plateau is the rehabilitated city of Exinlua, a bustling urban land overflowing with opportunities and fortune. Whatever was once here is erased, much to your relief, and orderly avenues now stretch beneath the banners of a new Crown. The air carries the scent of censers, steelworks, and fresh bread; travelers from Lake Kadia will find this city foreign yet homelike.
The city thrives under the vigilance of the Inquisition. New stone walls stand proud atop the shattered remnants of the elven fortifications, who were ground to rubble by boulders from the heavens and then refashioned into mortar. Though the rehabilitation of the city was carried out by the Inquisition, particular praise is owed to the Justice division; through their determination and sacrifice, they laid the way for Exinlua to be transformed into a beacon of faith and stability.
Redpeaks
Strikingly reminiscent of the Roxmore plains, the valley of Redpeaks is a vast stretch of cleared land that awaits the plow, though they once were dark untilled forests where dangerous predators roamed and stalked, the most dangerous among them were the wood elves. Ignorant to their place in the world, they opposed multiple generous offers for peace as they believed their forests would protect them. Look around you and witness the might of the Holy Pact; behold the fields that litter the valley with the blessing of Nymm; need you any more proof of our righteousness?
The lands in the valley are prime farmlands, their rich soil untouched for centuries beneath the old forests. Indeed, the first homesteads already rise among the hills, and many more hills are yet to be settled. The Aderian Survey Corps are hard at work: pathfinders, engineers, and agronomists chart its rivers, elevations, soil quality, and surviving woodland regions; administrators ponder how to hand out agricultural grants, distribute land rights, and calculate tax exemptions.
Krolbrurd
Have no qualms as you approach this orcish city; its name is Krolbrurd, and it is one of the two capitals of the Archduchy of Ugran, and was established by the brave forces of the Archduchy. These are civilized orcs whose souls are noble, their chaotic nature harnessed by Eyre, their bloodlust funneled to the honorable conduct of war.
And indeed, here war is supported; the city is ringing with with the constant hammering of smiths, and many of the trade caravans that pass through it carry arms. The most populous district is home to its largest industry - lumber; dozens of lumber mills and carpentries seek woodworkers and laborers with all sorts of experience - from inexperienced to artisans.
This is a very well-written guide guide and I love how you combine geography and ideology. I love how each region feels both alive and different and how you use a tone that feels very priestly. Very well done!
Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was going for <3
